We are thrilled to welcome a new group of campers for another amazing weekend at Camp! We are headed to a new-to-us location, Quest Inc.'s Camp Thunderbird! We are thrilled to be partnering with this beautiful facility.
Pride in Reading is an all gender, 21+ camp session celebrating queer stories, voices, and community. Expect all the nostalgic joy of summer camp, elevated with a spooky, Halloween, literary twist. (Rocky Horror Picture Show, anyone??)
Throughout the weekend, we’ll gather for affirming, joy-filled programming, including Drag Brunch Bookish Bingo, a sparkling Halloween-themed Queer Prom, and intimate conversations with Queer & Queer-affirming authors in a welcoming and supportive environment. Campers can look forward to creative workshops, shared reading moments, cozy campfires, and plenty of time to connect with fellow book lovers. Arrival at camp begins at 11 AM on Friday and will conclude after breakfast at 10 AM on Sunday.
This session is about celebrating identity, honoring queer literature, and finding belonging through stories, whether you’re dancing under the disco ball, crafting with friends, or curled up with a book by the fire. This session also takes place the weekend before Halloween, and YES we will have ALL the spooky vibes in store!
This massive campground features air-conditioned cabins, a large dining hall, indoor meeting and gathering spots, woodland trails, a pool (temperatures will determine if we can swim), and the touch of nostalgic charm that made summer camp so special.

This camp session is All Gender. ALL are welcome to attend! All attendees must be 21+ before arrival. Alcohol is NOT permitted on site, nor is smoking or vaping. Please NOTE: This is a summer camp. You will be in cabins with cabin mates using a shared bathhouse (bring shower shoes)! Excitingly, this is a bunk-free facility, so everyone has their own single bed! Have questions? Reach out!
